ABSTRACT
The author presents his comments on the legal and social situation of Polish psychotherapists, proposed criteria of training and professional examinations for the psychotherapists-to-be, and his reflexions concerning the rules of National Insurance Fund reimbursement for psychotherapy. The paper is a kind of personal statement and may become the starting point for a wider discussion in the therapists' society.

Aims of the project: Publication in Open Access mode on the Internet of English and Polish language versions of 8 consecutive issues of the journal Psychoterapia (years 2022-2024). Modernization and redesign of the journal’s website. Financing of the Editorial System. Copy editing and proofreading of journal issues. Counteracting scientific misinformation. Submission of electronic versions of the journal to the National Digital Library Polona and the Digital Library of Scientific Publications Academica.
